BW Catcher FPSO moors at Port of Nigg

Premier Oil’s floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) facility BW Catcher has moored at the Port of Nigg ahead of sail to to its final field location.
The vessel set sail from the Keppel Shipyard in Singapore in late August following sea tests.

It will be based at Premier Oil’s Catcher field on an initial seven-year contract with options to extend to up to 18 years.
The Catcher development comprises 22 subsea wells across several fields – Catcher, Burgman and Varadero – discovered between 2010 and 2013.
The vessel has made a “short port call” at Nigg prior to final sail away.
